Where it all began

Before Olliv was born, Coinflip began it’s journey by providing an easy onramp into crypto through their cash-to-crypto ATM business. Through simple and familiar interactions, new users began to see the dissipation of the myth surrounding crypto that it was “too complicated to get involved with”. Following the success of the ATMs, we decided to take our mission even further and bring crypto forward into the digital space with a next class self custodial platform. Our mission? To appeal to the historically underbanked and provide an onramp that was just as easy and intuitive to use as the ATMs while giving further functionality and utility to users that could bridge the gap between the physical and digital space.

Priniciples

As Olliv began to take shape we had a few key principles guiding our path.

Elegant simplicity

In keeping with our roots, Olliv should be a place where people of all skill levels and backgrounds can come join the crypto movement.

INclusion

Our motto of “Crypto for all of us” is a core of Olliv. In order to level the financial playing field, our goal was to encourage women who were crypto curious to check us out in the hopes that if they could feel confident and secure, we could achieve that for an even broader population.

Secure and compliant

It’s no secret that crypto has had a bad reputation over the last few years. Therefor, security and compliance with regulation was at the forefront of our minds as we proceeded to develop the product plan.

New Brand, New look

To go along with our new lease on our product life cycle, a change in visual direction was in order.

Introducing Olliv

Final thoughts

Over the course of 15 months, we were able to take Olliv from an idea in the boardroom to a fully executed platform available to the public on iOS, android, and web. Through immense effort and dedication, we were able to navigate the process in a timely manner and I am extremely proud of what the team has accomplished.

Upon request, further explorations of the feature flows may be provided. In the meantime feel free to try Olliv for yourself by signing up at olliv.com or download the app on your mobile device from apple or android.
